Inspiration

Sorry for the lack of posts. I have been very busy. I moved back to Missouri to live with my dad, I didn't have a computer, and school started which has kept me plenty occupied. Well I found a blog a couple months ago that I thought I would share with you guys. They are very inspirational, I love their clothes and their style they to me pretty much define chic. Disappointing thing about it though is that everything is in a different language and I can't read it. But I still go back to see all the pictures they post of them selves in their fabulous outfits. I love the outfit the girl is wearing to the left. The floral top, the high waisted skinny jeans, the silver jacket, the white shoes they always wear, the vintage necklace, I love it all I can't get enough. Oh and I am looking for the perfect navy blazer, that is cheap but still looks nice. So if you have any sugestions then please do tell. And also I would love to hear any questions any of you might have. So ask up C:

Outfits for the Week

Listening to: Feist - The Park

I have decided to do posts on outfits for the week. Suggestions on what to wear and such things as that. I also put things someone could be doing that day, and making and an outfit that would go well with doing that. So here it is.

Here is basic make up. This is all I usually wear. But sometimes I wear lipstick or blue eyeliner or something for a different look from time to time.
1. Almay Smart Shade Foundation $14, It matches your skin tone so it doesn't look cakey but it covers just enough. Drug Stores. 2. Estee Lauder Eye Shadow Base $15 It keeps your eyeshadow in place and from fading away. Nordstrom. 3. Nars Eye Shadow in Night Star (Not color in picture) $21, It's a light nude color but with some sparkle. Nordstrom. 4. Clinique Mascara in Black $14, It has a brush on one side to add volume and length and on the other side it has a comb so it doesn't look clumpy. Nordstrom. 5. MAC Lip Balm in Warm Smile (Not color in picture) $15, it adds a little but of color and it keeps your lips shiny and it has SPF 12. Nordstrom.

Shopping seems like a fun thing to do on a Sunday. So I here's a casual and chic outfit to stroll around the mall or the streets in. And a navy clutch to hold your money and other little things in, and the color is different from black so it's not too matchy matchy but it's close so it's perfect. It's also With a fedora, I mean if you can pull it off then why not?

1. Black Fedora $24 Urban Outfitters. 2. Magenta Dress $14 Forever 21. 3. Black Flower Pendant Necklace $5 Forever 21. 4. Navy Clutch $18 Urban Outfitters. 5. Black Dolce Vita Flats $78 Urban Outfitters.

This outfit is so Urban Socialite. The neon and the white shoes so cute.

1. Neon tee $15 Urban Outfitters. 2. Denim Shorts $35 American Eagle. 3. Hot Pink Messenger Bag $38 Urban Outfitters. 4. White Tennis Shoes $13 Payless.

This outfit would be appropriate for work and school. The jeans are kind of a trouser look so it's perfect. And I think it would be so chic to wear the bracelet over the cardigan.

1. Red Cardigan $23 Forever 21. 2. White Tank $8 Forever 21. 3. Gold Bracelet $7 Forever 21. 4. Black Pumps $39 Macy's.

This is great for dinner with the girls or your family. Maybe not the shoes, but I just love them. I am so digging animal prints right now.

1. Grey Striped Shirt $25 Urban Outfitters. 2. Purple Skinny Jeans $68 Urban Outfitters. 3. Gold Key Pendant Necklace $6 Forever 21. 4. Zebra Printed Peep Toe Pumps $100 Steve Madden.

The 70's high waisted jeans are just so chic. And the floral bangle is just lovely. I absolutely love this outfit.

1. Pink Neon Tee $16 Urban Outfitters. 2. High Waisted Jeans $80 Topshop. 3. Floral Bangle $8 Target. White Tennis Shoes $30 Steve Madden.

It's a great party outfit it's comfortable and the hot pink tights and an edge to it. And the flats would are a lot more comfortable to dance in then heals but their still nice. And the outfit is also ok for school. Maybe a little over top for school, but that's ok.

1. Grey Jumper $18 Forever 21. 2. Hot Pink Tights $12 Urban Outfitters. 3. Rhinestone Medallion Necklace $9 Forever 21. 4. Black Cocktail Ring $16 Urban Outfitters. 5. Black Dolce Vita Flats $78 Urban Outfitters, and yes these shoes are one here twice.

I love going to the art museum. So I thought it would be a good way for anyone to spend their Saturday. Well about the outfit. The red dress is perfect for the transaction into Fall from Summer. Because it's a mini dress with long leaves. So versatile. And there may not be and jewelry, but a necklace would be to much because I picture the bag going across your body. And the shoes are just so fabulous jewelry would just be to much.

1. Red Dress $16 Forever 21. Brown Bag $28 Urban Outfitters. 3. Gold Sandals $34 Urban Outfitters.

Well Enjoy C:

*Note: Almost everything is from Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters. Ha, they are just so fabulous.

Fall Trends 2007

Listening to: Feist - I Feel it All

Finally fished something! Basically, these are the essential staples you need in your fall wardrobe to establish a chic, trendy, timeless look for any day of the week! Whether your going to school or your just have a quit day at home, with these, you're bound to turn heads. Not all of these are trends some are things I would like to see this fall like the florals.

1. The Sweater Dress.
Perfect for back to school. You can wear a light weight dress since it is usually a bit cool in school buildings. And when it becomes cold all you have to do is add a pair of leggings. You can also dress them up or down depending on your accessories.
Purple sweater dress: Forever 21 $16. Grey Sweater Dress: Shopbop $285.

2. Scarves

You can't go wrong with a scarf. Their uber chic and they can keep you warm C:
Plaid scraf: Urban Outfitters $20. Multi colored Scarf: Urban Outfitters $18.

3. Plaid

A perfect school girl chic outfit would be to wear a plaid jumper with a black t shirt underneath with red tights. It's chic, it's classic, it's edgy. You can get various colors of tights at urban outfitters.

Plaid Jumper: Forever 21 $28. Plaid Shorts: Forever 21 $18

4. Oversized Outerwear
I couldn't find any cheap (or that cute) oversived cardigans or jackets. I suggest trying a thrift store.
Black Jacket: Topshop $110. Blue Cardigan: Topshop $60.

5. Florals

I love floral clothing. It so soft elegant and chic. The best place to find florals is at thrift stores. Their you can find more unique one of a kind peices so it's perfect.

Dress: Forever 21 28$. Shirt: Urban Outfitters $24.

6. Vibrant Colors

Magenta's, purples, and yellows are big right now. Trying to find a bold color this season will not be a hard thing to do. And altough I love fall colors, it is nice for a bold pop this season.

Yellow Tee: Wetseal $5. Purple Tights: Urban Outfitters $12. Magenta Dress: Forever 21 $14.

7. Biker Chic
I love leather jackets. They add a defendant edge to any outfit.
Top left jacket: Topshop $200. bottom right jacket: Shopbop $916.

8. Hats
I was never really a hat person until now. But now I have realized how chic they can be.
Black Floppy Hat: Forever 21 $17. Plaid newsboy hat: Urban Outfitters $24. White fedora: Topshop $50. Grey newsboy hat: Forever 21 $10.

9. Black Embellishments
Sequins and rhinestones. I'm not to big on the rhinestones but I still love sequins. So basically shiny black tops and dresses and some bags and shoes are big this season. They also go well with the biker chic aspect of fall.
Black sequin tunic: Forever 21 $23. Black sequin tank: Forever 21 $23.

Runway Look Week 1

Listening to: Mazzy Star - Fade into You
I finally got my internet on my computer to work. So yay C: I can now work on all the posts you all have been anxiously waiting for.

I have decided to recreate some of my favorite runway looks each week. So I am starting off with Alice + Olivia. The dress is from Forever 21 $25 which I love it has a cute ballerina look to it but it's black. The belt and tights are from Urban Outfitters. Belt: $25 Tights: $12. The shoes are from Delias $35. And the necklace is from Wet Seal $8. I thought I would add the necklace because it's such a dark outfit. So I added a bright quirky piece. Well the whole outfit comes to $105. Not even as much as the dress designer would be. So enjoy C:
P.S.
This is my 25th post. So I am a 3 quaters away to my 100th post C:

New Place No Time

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything yet. Truth, I haven't even been able to work on my latest post because I'm in the middle of moving. The internet on my computer doesn't work yet. All I have is my moms laptop, and I can't be on it long. So I'm just making a quick post. So isn't this tote fabulous? It's perfect for back to school. You could use it with just about everything, it's so chic.
